Benefits that are administered by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) include pensions, health benefits, long-term care benefits and more. There are benefits that are available to those veterans and in some cases, surviving spouses that you may need assistance applying for. We can help you determine eligibility and help you incorporate those benefits into your long-term plan.
Aid and Attendance is a pension benefit that is available to all veterans and their spouses, without a disability requirement. This benefit is designed to help offset the expenses associated with long-term care and has specific income and asset requirements. Pension benefits, medical benefits and even educational benefits that may be available should be reviewed in connection with your retirement plan and other long-term plans.
Veterans who are permanently and totally disabled, or age 65 or older may also be entitled to disability benefits if they meet the necessary requirements; we can help you review the documents necessary to apply for these benefits.
If you or a loved one has served our country and you need assistance planning for retirement, health care needs or long-term nursing needs, we can help. We will review the various options and help you determine which benefits you or your family member may be entitled to and help you apply for those benefits.
